The General Monthly Meeting of the Howard County Genealogical Society is pushed out week until July 15th in order to bring you this Special Presentation, “Probate Inventories - A Unique Tool for Genealogists”.  This is a joint presentation of the Anne Arundel Genealogical Society and Howard County Genealogical Society and hosted this month by the Anne Arundel Genealogical Society.

Summary:  Eve Love will provide an overview of probate inventories - the who, what, when, why and how these documents tell of the circumstances of our ancestors lives.  Examples will be reviewed for their unique details.  

Speaker:  Eve Love, a native of St. Mary’s County is an ardent student of history and genealogy. Her interest in family history began as a young adult listening to family stories. She has been conducting personal genealogy research for approximately forty years, building on the work of her grandmother and mother. Eve is a Member of the St. Mary’s County Genealogical Society and has served as President, 1 st Vice President and Secretary. To hone her skills she has attended numerous seminars/webinars to expand her knowledge and research techniques. In addition, she has taught Genealogy Classes at the College of Southern Maryland. Eve is also a member of the St. Mary’s County Historical Society and the Anne Arundel Genealogy Society.
